Product Roadmap Manager

The Role

We're looking for someone who can work with the executive team to take our strategic vision, advocate that vision to internal stakeholders, and drive it to completion.

You'll be joining a dynamic, cross-functional team, helping to conceive - and then taking responsibility for the execution of - key features that bring tangible results to the company.
 
We work smart, fast, and cohesively as a team, both within product/design/engineering and across the rest of the organisation.
 
We're looking for someone who is passionate about creating great product.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work across the company to determine and refine product strategy
  • Build a product roadmap, and execute against it
  • Manage the product development process from concept through design, build, release, analysis, and iteration
  • Analyse data to optimise performance and focus on high-potential product areas
  • Conduct research with users, customers, and the broader market

Our flagship product is Scout Talent:Recruit, a simple yet effective candidate management system subscribed to by more than 300 organisations around Australia and overseas (including KFC, Sephora, St Vincent de Paul, Probuild and over 60 local government Councils).

One of our newest products is Scout Talent:Engage, a talent pipelining and recruitment marketing tool that shifts clients' recruitment strategies from reactive to proactive. This product is super-charged by our Employer Branding and Recruitment teams who curate content and manage talent pools.

Scout Talent:Onboard makes the creation of Letters of Offer a breeze, and the acceptance of those offers by candidates even easier through electronic signatures.

Scout Talent:Promote is a top-down leadership planning system our clients use to manage succession. It helps clients make objective, data-based decisions to identify management potential within their businesses.

The Fit

What kind of person are we looking for?

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills, and attention to detail
  • Comfort in working with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced, unstructured startup environment
  • Ability to give interface direction
  • CS or technical background preferred but not required

 

The Benefits

We value ownership and autonomy. We believe the best people should be paid 'above market rates' and reward our team members for extra effort and outcomes. Your remuneration package will be made up of a retainer plus monthly incentives tied to results, giving you an OTE of $100,000 - $120,000.

Our organisational structure is egalitarian, flat, and built around small, supportive teams. We have teams of Developers, Sales Executives, Client Success Specialists, and Marketers here to work with you to make this a success.
