Your new career

The primary purpose of this role is to provide product demonstrations to HR/recruitment professionals who are considering purchasing Scout Talent software. Our demonstrations are much more of a strategic recruitment discussion than a technical conversation. You'll learn about each organisation's recruitment process, what's working well in their recruitment and what isn't working, and then show them how Scout Talent products will make a difference.

Most of your meetings will be conducted online via web demonstration, though there will be some face-to-face contact. You'll be presenting to recruitment decision-makers in organisations who generally have a minimum of 400 employees.

All of your demonstrations will be booked by our team of highly skilled Sales Executives, who will have introduced you as the Specialist in the product range.

Once you have completed an engaging demonstration, you'll create a proposal and other relevant information to aid the Sales Executives in closing the sale.

In addition to providing product demonstrations, you'll use your knowledge and experience in recruitment to analyse our clients' recruitment processes and offer them tailored, educated and strategic advice. You’ll be backed by in-house teams of recruitment specialists who will provide recruitment expertise, implementation support, training and tech support.

You'll find your new role to be extremely enjoyable, varied and interesting. Our open plan, spacious office enjoys full-length views of the Brisbane river and is located only a few minutes from the train, bus or City Cat terminal. We pay above-market rates and will negotiate a remuneration package with the successful candidate, in line with their experience and skills. Your package will comprise a base salary and performance-based incentives. 

Successful team members will also enjoy further opportunities to advance their career within Scout Talent and/or Employment Office, by becoming Team Leaders or entering business ownership roles.

What we need from you

We'll need you to be articulate and well presented, with the ability to provide engaging product demonstrations to our clients and 'think on your feet'. You will enjoy information gathering and the art of investigation, equipping you with all you need to demonstrate the most relevant areas of our products and provide targeted advice to your clients.

You don’t need to have qualifications to be successful in this role, though a qualification in HR or another business discipline will be viewed favourably. What is more important is that you have a solid background in recruitment and a clear understanding of recruitment process best practices.

Importantly, you'll need the ability to pick up and understand our products and relay technical information to a diverse audience.

Most of all, you will have high levels of energy, and will be an ambitious and driven person, with the ability to take this newly created role and use it to help grow a dynamic and successful business.
