Business Development Manager
With ongoing expansion of our client base and products and a strong strategy of team growth, we're on the lookout for a polished and determined Business Development Manager to join our Brisbane team.
Tenacity and a hunger for achieving results will take you far as you play a pivotal role in finding new business opportunities and moving these leads through the sales pipeline. This is a high-touch, national role (primarily phone based), selling across industry verticals, with the expectation that you will focus on enterprise level clients across 1-2 industry segments.
Working with primarily outbound leads, here's what your key accountabilities will be:
- Delivering 10 qualified demo's per month to our product specialists;
- Rigidly applying our simple and sophisticated sales journey;
- Connecting with 20-30 new businesses per day in assigned verticals via a multi-touch methodology; and
- Delivering outstanding service to prospective clients and achieve industry leading NPS scores.
This is a fantastic opportunity to focus on what you do best - finding new leads and making valuable connections - while having the advantage of a senior sales team member there to help close the sale. You'll also be supported by a team of Product Specialists who will conduct client demos and help the prospect understand why Scout Talent is a natural choice if they want to recruit the best.

The successful candidates will be charismatic, well spoken and polished - you need to make a great first impression every time! It's also crucial you be persistent and very process driven, with loads of initiative in order to consistently hit your KPIs.
Due to the nature of our sales cycle, you'll ideally have experience in B2B sales or service based sales. Experience in HR, recruitment and/or SaaS would be advantageous but industry specific experience is not essential.
